Traditionally it's the Chrischtchindli in Switzerland, but in the recent years the American Santa Claus has started to compete with it. The Samichlaus, the Swiss version of Santa Claus, howeverm only appears on December 6 of course.

The only thing I find less believable than an old man in a red suit and a big white beard driving a sleigh with 8 reindeer flying in front of it from the North Pole and landing on rooftops across the world to deliver presents....

Considering the quality of the average present, I find blaming that on the Christkind sacrilegious.  Now, maybe in other countries your presents are better so it makes more sense.
