Polish People's Party (PSL), an opportunistic party of agrarian interests. While keeping a traditional conservative rhetoric socially and progressive economically, it's more a trade union of politicians/interest groups from rural states, with strong local structures, although weak at national level. Still, PSL can decide a balance of power in the Congress and is willing to be in a coalition with literally everyone, who can guarantee their interests.

PSL is particularly strong in states like the both Dakotas, Iowa, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Nebraska. Have pockets of power in rural Minnesota or Indiana. Basically non-existing in more urban or mountain states, and the Deep South.

Democratic Left Alliance (SLD), historically, one of the dominant parties, SLD suffered a lot from the 2004 landslide, that outset them from power, and until very recently, existed in a weak form of a third party. Presently, however, is regaining a ground, in a wake of PO fatigue and PiS turning itself into a total joke.

A main centre-left formation, SLD electorate, however, is pretty hard to make a simple classification. An educated urban population, youth (while some fled to PO between 2004 and 2010 due to party's bad condition and PO temporary position as the only force which can stop the hard right), but also blue collar Reagan Democrats and even some traditional, converted Dixiecrats from the South (called "Blue Dogs"), which are the last remaining sign of former SLD-dominated Solid South.

Law and Justice (PiS), PiS became a major party, along with PO, during the 2004 elections, due to a fatigue and discontent over left administration. After four years of a very divisive, hard-right administration, PiS lost in landslide in 2008 (after losing congressional majority in 2006), but narrowly manages to retain second place. Currently, the party is even more dominated by radical elements. Particularly strong in the Deep South and non-PSL rural areas.

Civic Platform (PO), although found as a centre-right socially and economically conservative, PO is currently perceived as a major moderate party, appealing to both traditional SLD voters, when party was at it's lowest, and moderate conservatives. Ideologically, in U.S. terms, it can Be described as a sort of third way, supporting universal health care, retaining social security, but being more pro-business and anti-regulations, as well as remaining right-leaning on social issues. PO won in landslide 2006 and 2008 elections, as an anti-PiS alternative. However, PO retained power barely in Congress after 2010, being forced to co-rule with SLD, due to PSL losses (PiS didn't make gains). Natural stronghold of PO are upper classes, subrubs.
