Why post in them if you have no opinion (for whatever reason) about the preceding thing?  Seems kind of dickish (not to mention pointless) to me.  Like going into a thread about TV shows just to tell other people you don't watch TV shows (because obviously that makes you better than the slobs watching TV shows).  Indeed there are exceptions, like if the preceding thing is obscure and it's been 14 hours since the post or something and it's a perfectly fine thread that has no business dying already, sure, bump that son of'a bitch and get it going again.

Of course me pointing this out makes me a dick too, but feel free to point that out.
