Apparently both campaigns have been notified. Figured Mitt's team wouldn't say it unless it was reliable.

14 votes...wow. My hat goes off to Phil for a wonderful effort by Santorum.

On to New Hampshire! Smiley Smiley

Although this is good for Romney, I honestly can't believe Santorum lost by a mere 14 votes. He's the real winner of the night.

I was starting to become ok with Romney winning. Then- I saw the two speeches, Santorum and Romney... there is no way anyone can say Romney is a better speaker or more sincere and charismatic

The Romney campaign can thank the Iowa GOP's "secret location" for that.

If they were going to rig it for Romney, I don't think they would have let it be this close.

Fair enough, but he did go after Obama in his speech, which was what he needed to do, IMO.

He won by a mere 8 votes. Id consider this more of a tie. Both Romney and Santorum basically get the same amount of delegates, correct?

Romney, Santorum and Paul are each projected to receive seven delegates each.

Estimated delegate count: Romney 7, Santorum 7, Paul 7, Gingrich 2, Perry 2 .

Indeed, so one can even argue that it was a three way tie.
