CNN is interviewing party people from Clinton. The votes were phoned in at 7:48 pm, but it appears that the state didn't record it. Romney 51, Santorum 33 is what they are getting by phone.

Well, that would give us the Romney +14, groan.

I love some blue haired lady holding things up on the phone...on a major national cable news channel.

Hopefully they triple-checked all their other precinct numbers...

Fox says the 14 vote Romney win reported by Rove, has been confirmed by a second source.

The Clinton person's total indicates that the totals I mentioned are yet to be added.

I wonder if the state GOP is holding this precinct back to delay announcing it's complete so they can double-check numbers somewhere else?

Wouldn't be a bad idea, especially when it's this close.

Wow..

Goodnight everyone. I swear, if I find out tomorrow morning there was a minor glitch and Santorum actually won, I'm going to flip a lid.

But does even Fox not have the balls to call this?

This is a pathetic indictment of the Republican Party in general. Not who did or didn't win, but that these are the people we're discussing.

That would be consistent with the counties backed off on the state map.

Not to burst your bubble, but a Romney +14 over Santorum is a Santorum victory.

The worst part about Paul losing is, I don't get to use this:

Who should we be discussing, Ron Paul?

That's what I said earlier.  But either way, even IF Santorum won, he wouldn't have the momentum or resources to win more.

Well with Perry gone, Bachmann mortally wounded, and Gingrich weakened, Santorum might be able to win South Carolina, otherwise, this will get really boring.

If Cain hadn't still been on the ballot, Santorum would have won.

Candy Crowley on CNN is also hearing that Romney won by 14 votes, she's trying to pin down sources.

There is no ballot at caucuses.

The ballot is a blank piece of paper that you write the candidates name on. So unless someone magically wrote Cain on people's ballots and had them cross his name off before writing someone else, then he wasn't on the 'ballot' tonight.
