ROFLMAO

A guy just lifted up his beer bottle to cheer when Mitt Romney finished speaking.

Oh the irony...

This is seriously a Reaganesque speech.

Please get off your knees before Michelle Bachmann's husband decides to join you.

What is so special about Rick in keeping and re-attracting manufacturing jobs to the US?  I don't recall him being a protectionist type per se (I won't vote for a protectionist, but then I won't vote for Rick anyway, but I digress). So what makes him special?

Romney is an engaging and more likable than average sleazy car dealer (still not as engaging or likable as Crazy Vaclav), but he's still a sleazy car dealer.

Santorum is, to an extent, a 'friend' of the old and the poor and all that, but he's not a competent one, and there are other people and things that he's a friend of more.

Considering where he's from, why is his position here surprising?

BTW, Santorum's in 2nd in Clayton County. CNN now has Santorum up by 34.

This could really go either way.

It's almost 2am in Halifax and I have some early appointments tomorrow, so I'm going to bed.  I want to remember my last look at this race, with a 5 vote difference and 99% of the precincts in.

No matter who ends up with the final edge, job well done Rick Santorum!
Congratulations, Phil!

And thanks, Iowa, for a spectacular evening!  ♥

Santorum is up by 34.

What a night. Seriously. One of the greatest comebacks and possibly one of the narrowest victories. Wow.

No, what is special about Rick's policy prescriptions? Mittens talks tough about China too (currency "manipulation"), although of course the US has very little bargaining power vis a vis China at the moment.

Why are some people claiming that Paul can win the delegates, even though he won't win the popular vote? Is that even possible? Apparently Paul supporters are sticking around to become delegates, while a lot of Romney and Santorum supporters were going home. Is it just wishful thinking?

Already 7am here, need to get ready for work ...

But Romney really has to worry about SC now, considering his miserable result there in 2008.

Santorum could rise pretty fast down there and the donations will also come in quick now.
