Lincoln. 

Let's face it.  What terrible action did Lincoln take to cause southern seccession?  His oath of of office.

One year into the Civil War, Lincoln freed precisely noslaves by proclaimation or by legislation. 

Part of the South, pardoned the pun, jumped the gun when it seceeded.

I don't think that's why StatesRights is accusing Lincoln of "fascism." He greatly expanded the power of the Executive branch of government.

All the Republicans (except StatesRights) will vote Lincoln, and all the Dems will vote FDR.
