Right....Ron Paul just lost any goodwill I had for him by attacking the death penalty.

He didn't attack it. He just said it's carried out unfairly.

Well, if you see it as a tool of tacit establishment racism, he did attack that.

Wow.  This was Mitt's most direct request for the jmfcst vote that I've yet seen.

Mitt was actually pretty funny right there, referring to Dr. Paul.

Romney is getting some good one's, I admit.

This is such an odd question.

I have no problem admitting that Paul knows the Constitution way better than anyone, including Romney, on the stage.

I thought, "it's working just fine, leave it alone" was better. Grin

Is anyone else surprised that Ron Paul thinks there's a right to privacy in the constitution? I thought he was some Scalia-esque traditionalist.

Wait...Santorum needs to pick an answer.
Is it up to the states to decide or do you want a federal ban?

What the hell did Romney mean about gay marriage or civil-unions? It was complicated.

Not really, libertarians generally worship at the altar of Griswold v. Connecticut.

He didn't attack it. He just said it's carried out unfairly.

And if one is truly interested in preserving the death penalty, the best way to do so would be to resolve some of these concerns. Otherwise support will bleed away and it will be abolished across the US, in a decade or two.
What kind of a bastard do you have  to be to do that?

Ron Paul didn't understand the question, as was apparent in his answer.

Okay, now I'm ing pissed. What was the last time a teen killed himself for being Catholic or Methodist? Mitt Romney should be forced to watch a tape of a teenage boy being teased or beaten. Better yet, Newt Gingrich should be forced to live minimum-wage and as a gay man in southern Georgia and then say that "CATLIKZZZ HAV IT HRD!!!!111"

Each and every one of them should be thrown into the mobs of the truly oppressed.

If Newt would stick to attacking the media, instead of other candidates, he would do better.  But this is rather obvious.

Why would a gay man in southern Georgia stay in southern Georgia instead of moving to San Francisco?

And nobody in America is truly oppressed. Go to sh**tholes like Zimbabwe or Afghanistan if you want to see the truly oppressed.

Heh, Rick Perry wants to reinvade Iraq, and thinks people can move at "literally the speed of light".

I actually like Gingrich when he's not spending every ounce of time attacking his opponents.

They need to talk about the economy more. Attacking Obama on foreign policy is a huge general election loser.
