2010 redefined "entrenched" for Democrats. Chet Edwards and that guy in FL-2 whose name I can't be bothered to look up were entrenched through tough elections before, but they went under.

By about thirty billion votes in the case of Edwards.

Thirty billion, eh?  Old habits sure do die hard in south Texas.
