Have you ever seriously considered that the political party you support could be wrong?

Yes.  That's why I became an independent (instead of a Democrat)

DeLay is a good majority leader. What's wrong with him?

I think he meant "wrong on the issues."

Nope! That's the beauty of being an independent. One time I created a new party of which I was the only member, but I ended up terminating the party because I disagreed with it's platform Tongue

Yes, wrong on not supporting civil unions in the platform.  Also wrong on smothering a clause in the platform that would have accepted the major disagreements in the Party over abortion and gay rights.

President Bush was wrong to sign Campaign Finance Deform.

And of course our Congressmen have turned into hardcore Democrats when it comes to spending.

On domestic issues, you are a Republican. On foreign affairs, you are a Democrat. I suggest voting Democrat in federal elections and Republican in state elections.

Well, actually I suggest just voting Republican, but I don't know that you'd like that idea.

There are some issues I've felt the Democrats have been wrong on, but usually in those cases I've been to the left of both parties.

I disagree with the GOP position on stem cell research, somewhat.

Yes- Democrat.  I know I've been sounding like quite a racist, but I feel the Dems overpander to minorities.  Affirmative action definitely has its flaws that in the future need to be corrected.  There are even things such as marijuana legalization that I'm even more to the left than most Dems on as well.

Yes, all of the time.  I find it funny that the Democrats are the only ones here with "NO" answers.  How narrow-minded.

The Republican Party is wrong on most social issues(although I agree with the death penality) . They should not care what goes on in the bedroom between two consenting adults and keep the federal government intervention to a minimum. The federal government should have no place in things such as marriage and abortion. but yet it seems the modern day GOP wants to push for constitutional ammendments giving more government intervention. The Republicans main point of focus should be a balenced budget, a decent economy and foreign policy.

The GOP should take lessons from the Libertarian Party on social issues.

I agree with all of this. The reason we push for constitutional amendments, though, isn't because we actually want to force it on the entire country; we just have to to stop activist judges it seems like.

the reason yall push for constitutional amendments is because the bigotry yall advocate is unconstitutional.

Go learn a concept called capitalization and then I'll see if I feel like debating bigotry with you.

Since you didn't provide a substanitive argument on the Constitution, I'll just assume you're an idiot, since that's what I've been doing for a while now anyway.

I semi-agree with Bush that Kerry would have a tough time getting French help to a war that is "the wrong war, wrong place, wrong time"
