This is my new thing. Instead of empty quoting people, I'm just gonna say things like "mmmhm!" and "you got that right!".

Given that we had approximately a full month of people being "exposed" to Paul's platform between December and January, I'd say the whiner's protests are, shall we say, el bullshito.

No, we really haven't.

We've had Paul whine on, and very little MEDIA scrutiny of the Paul platform. So as a general view the public's perception of Paul is very VERY superficial.

It's kind of cute how the Paulites are getting a half-mongrel (google it) on the idea that their agenda is popular... when it really, really isn't.

Mmmhm.

But seriously, this. The idea that there's some great, silent, Paulite majority in the United States. Someone running on a genuinely extremist platform is not going to do well. It's not rocket science, folks.

Attacking Ron Paul for the newsletters is far different from attacking him on his platform.

This, though.

Yeah. Paul writing (or whatever, getting them ghostwritten) those newsletters already means he'd lose in a landslide. Imagine if Romney had the same scandal in his past, for example.

Add the newsletter thing to a political platform a thousand miles out of the mainstream and you've got the recipe for Paul as the GOP candidate carrying three or four states at best.
