It would be nice if he would just tell jokes instead of making a joke out of the democratic process

The respondents saying they would vote for Colbert are joking of course, most of them, just like Dukie is. Smiley

Actually it is money in politics that is making a joke out of the democratic process. He is just hilariously exposing it with his super pac.

I like the 62% who would be less likely to vote for Cain if his votes encouraged Colbert to run. Who are these people? "Well, I was going to vote for the guy who has already dropped out, but now that could be as construed as support for the other guy not yet running, I just don't want to waste my vote..."

The mockery has already been made. He is simply pointing it out.

The American "democratic process" is a joke.

Yeah, it's brilliant satire. It educates the American public about the US electoral process, and its many, many flaws.

If I lived in SC, I would definitely vote for Herman Cain (Stephen Colbert) as a protest vote.

Exactly, but I must correct you, it's not his Super Pac, it's Jon Stewart's.
Stewart and Colbert: two individuals who have conversed politically frequently (especially recently), but by law, have yet to "coordinate", thus making it legal.

Our "democracy", everyone.
