speaking of crushing, there's no crushing Guinness.  I've disliked the stuff since I choked one down on August 8 2007.

Romney (wisely) wasn't running on Bain in 2008.

still I'd figure somebody would have oppo'd him on it

'I think Adam Smith was right'

Nobody knows who he is in Dixie, Moneybags.

of course Adam Smith is far more complicated than the neolib patron st. version, but, neither here nor there!  I try to shut the critic in me off when I watch these football games.

thought Paul was going to work inflation problems in the post-War into his point there somehow.  but as it turns out it would have cut against the current of what he was trying to say.

sh**t John King just made me make the connection that a Romney victory may mean I can't stay on my dad's health care plan through age 26.

Santorum: "I'm boring, elect me."

was a key part of Hillary's strategy in 08.

Romney laughed hard at Paul's "you'd think I'm poor" comment: the first time I've felt a Romney reaction to be totally his own

Opposing unions is incredibly un-libertarian.

in this context they'd be talking about federal recognition of unions for bargaining purposes

In general, the copyright laws in the US are pretty much stronger now than they've ever been in world history.  And way too overbroad in protecting old copyrights.  If anything, we need better protection of new copyrights (but not prior restraint-type laws) and less protection of old ones.

Of course, SOPA doesn't really deal with much of that.

whoa, SS and I agree on a policy issue.

Used to be musician, well aware of what's going on in the issue, and my experience says that is what needs to be done.  I'm sure we agree in other areas too - don't let my opinion on certain issues fool you - I have my logic for everything I believe.  Smiley

have you read Notes from Underground?

If this were an election for student government president, Romney would win 75-80% of the vote.

Ann Romney is lead cheerleader?
