As you might all be aware, the President has made the excellent choice of nominating Texasgurl to the Federal Bench.  I hope that we can all agree that her exemplary record and bi-partisan appeal make her perfect for the job.

Hmmmm... Guess I should have done that before endorsing you.  Smiley

Texasgurl,

One of the future battles before the court will be the battle over the Unwed and Teenage Mothers Protection Bill.  What is you opinion of this bill?  If nominated, how would you rule on it?

If i was still in the senate i would probably vote yes on that.
I honestly don't know where it would fit in with the new constitution being worked on though.
This is just my personal opinion by the way,i would hear both sides and hopefully reach a fair decision.

And I'll make a great former senator.

As there appear to be no further questions, I hereby open voting.

All senators in favor of Texasgurl for associate justice, vote "yea"; all opposed, vote "nay".

Yea.

With eight votes in favor to none against, I hereby declare Texasgurl confirmed as associate justice.

Swear her in, and lets get moving on the cases.

Sorry; I have to spare at least some time for university classes. Smiley
