Suppose despite our confident expectations, Newt somehow manages to become President?  Nominating someone to teach a party a lesson can be a very dangerous game.  It is not some Atlas election.

You act like the hypothetical presidencies of Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich would be significantly different.

Yes, I do act that way because I believe it. Newt has a very poor temperament to be president, is a terrible manager, has a thin skin, lacks respect for the rule of law, has poor judgment, and thinks he knows a lot more than he in fact does. All in all, mix all of that in a bottle, and it will explode. This is not a game. This is real life.

At the end of the day, both will destroy the economy with unnecessary and draconian austerity packages. How well they manage the Oval Office is completely immaterial.
Only austerity for the workers. Owners will get enormous subsidies and tax breaks.

There is no way Romney would be as bad as Gingrich on foreign policy. So they are not the same.

Really? What foreign policy issues do they disagree on?

There is about 0% difference between them on foreign policy.

I can't even bring myself to vote for Gingrich, even maliciously. Which is funny because I was considering voting for Santorum, I guess I draw a line between someone with repulsive politics and someone with repulsive politics who is also such a repulsive human being personally as well. As a result I'm likely not voting in Minnesota's caucus, I also don't think I could bring myself to sign something saying that I mostly affiliate with the Republican party and have it on file I ever voted in a GOP caucus.

Vote for Ron Paul BRTD! He'd probably win your precinct.

Oh he will. He even did in 2008.

Also for the GOP caucus my entire State Senate district votes at one precinct. LOL.
