Strange decision to poll the approval for Heinz Fischer instead for Werner Fayman. Same goes for Finland.

Granted, these two countries have relatively strong presidents for parliamentary republics, but all things considered I'd say that the respective heads of governments play the more important role within the political system.

The only presidents that should have been polled for are the French and the Cypriot ones, and maybe the Romanian and the Lithuanian ones.

It's pretty sad when Zapatero and Socrates have/had lower approvals than the fascist Orban.

Pretty predictable results though Cameron is polling better than I imagined. Weird time frame for a poll but I guess that's to be expected when surveying an entire continent.

You know, there's a reason why Gallup quit conducting VI polls in the UK.

Yeah, they should have polled Faymann - because Fischer does almost nothing other than giving New Years speeches and showing up at major Austrian skiing events ... Wink

If they polled Faymann, the results would be something like 45-45 I guess, based on the Austrian polls I know.
