Post 9/11 Guiliani: Maybe (we all respected him then).

Post 2004 RNC Guiliani: Heavans no!

I'd buy fishnets and 6" cherry-red stilletos for Giuliani if doing so kept Her Majesty out of the White House.

Under no circumstance could I vote for a Schwarzenegger or a McCain, though.

Maybe. I'm from New York, the Bronx. I would lean to him just because he's from New York. Now if a moderate Democrat received the nomination, like a Lieberman, I would probably vote for the Democrat. Now if Hillary received the nomination, and I fear for the Democratic party if she does, I would definantly vote for Giuliani. However, I think Giuliani should run against Hillary for her 2006 Senate seat. I think many voters would look past his transactions and vote for him.

No.  He seems to me to be sort of the Ed Rendell of New York, just out looking for a good time, while not really doing much on his own and trying to take too much credit for things he didn't do.

I know this is primarily aimed towards Republicans, but being the New Yorker that I am I would probably vote for Guiliani for President.  He may be a scumbag, but so was Clinton Smiley

LOL.  Being exposed to Rudy on a daliy basis you realize he is an ego-maniac and a publicity whore--what politician isn't.  He is a funny guy though and I agree with him on a lot.  I would vote for Rudy.  New York was going down the crapper before he came around.  He helped change the political climate in NYC. There were certainly other factors involved in New Yorks resurgence but the efforts of Rudy and Bratton should not be overlooked.

For Senate, my vote's already cast for him.

Assuming I'm still in NY in 2008, I might vote for the Libertarian.  Depends on what positions Rudy takes, and whether Hillary's running against him or not.

EDIT:  500 posts!

Only strident religious extremists can become the GOP nominee nowadays.  Giuliani and people like him should actually leave that party.
