Barack Obama, when will he run?

Interesting how nobody even considered the idea of him running in 2008. A mere six months later there were definite signals and median buzz about him running, and he announced less than a year later.

At this point I was really pining for Russ Feingold to get in the race. Had no idea that Obama would get in, thought he'd be appointed attorney general in the administration of whoever ran in 08 or maybe run for Governor of Illinois in 2010. I knew he'd run eventually, I just thought that it'd be 2016.
