Considering that the past Presidential election consisted of about 30% of the posts in the past "future elections" board four years after the election, I would say this forum will continue to see posts through 2008, even if not merged.

It should steadily decrease in activity, though, and even out sometime at the end of this year, I'd wager.

The answer to this question has a lot more to do with the character of the posters than whether the forums are outdated or not.

Huh?

Anyway I don't think it matters if these forums die or not.  I would imagine as soon as the 2008 forums are created (BTW why haven't they been created yet) we'll see a drop in 2004 discussion.
