Ironically this was the guy that mocked marijuana decriminalization.

Is he seriously trying to call the lab test a liar?

It isn't truly a Republican scandal unless there's gay sex involved somehow.  The drugs will do, I guess, but it just isn't the same.

This guy first gained infamy when he made this remark:

Wouldn't be surprised if he was actually at Twin River while in Connecticut.

That is in RI.  He was probably picking up a gay male, Guatemalan prostitute in New Haven and then was headed to Foxwoods;)

I would defend him if he didn't bash marijuana decriminalization earlier.

For the record, drug tests for cocaine in rare circumstances may record a false positive if one has recently used amoxicillin or certain topical anesthetics, or due to certain medical conditions (diabetes, liver disease, kidney disease). Not that there's really any reason to trust this hypocrite.

He was probably snorting off the belly of a male prostitute. That's been done before though...

Is there any high-profile Rhode Island politician who has not been arrested or is soon to be indicted?

What is Chafee in any trouble? He seems pretty clean.

I suspect the real reason this wasn't really discussed earlier was because Rhode Island House Republican Leader is a position of about equal importance to Anne Arundel County, Maryland County Councilor.

I agree with this. It will be satisfying to watch him go down in flames.

Chafee has admitted to cocaine use in the past. I don't think voters in Rhode Island seriously care about this kind of stuff.

This is funny. Does he think being a Republican means you can have your weed in plain sight in your car unlike the rest of us?

Cocaine use seems to be a prerequisite for being elected President nowadays.

You still need a Constitutional Amendment to spell it out explicitly.
I, for one, would be in favor.
