I think this anti-Mormonism is quite ugly and really ought to stop.

Not at all.

It's Mormonism that's ugly. People are just shining a light on it.

Hopefully this will lead the way to open discussion about the true ugliness of every religion.

Christianity is one of the most powerful tools of oppression ever devised.

The really ugly thing is the extreme anti-atheism in this country.


It's only to be expected.

Religion is largely an evolutionary thing. Helps with group survival. Tribal bonds really.

What can you expect then, of people whose instincts draw them away from this kinda group-bonding-collective-illusion? Certainly the majority won't like us too much, we're actively choosing to not fit in to any group.
