Actually, Politico, Christians in this country for the most part believe Mormonism is a false religion that adds to the words of the Bible when the Bible says explicitly not to.  In addition, their end times prophecy is far different than the true end times prophecy that is taking place in our day and age with Israel and such.  Mormons believe that once they create a theocratic form of socialism with a Mormon president in the USA that Jesus will return to Independence, MO.  Romney is a high elder in the Mormon church and Mormons believe that once he becomes president it will be a fulfillment of their prophecy which they work towards dilligently.  

They control entire cities out west - every, and I mean, every lever of power as part of their strategy.  See Mesa, AZ for a prime example.  

Non-dominionist Christians like myself believe that the end times events will play out in their own time and place.  We can neither control, slow down or speed up the pace of those events.  The only thing we do is watch and wait for the rapture/non-rapture second coming with 7 years of the antichrist and an Israel peace treaty.

I would say that a man that has come to pave the path for the second coming of the messiah by being elected the first Non-Christian President of the United States in 2012 is something out of a Left Behind novel.

Yeah, but thats Biblically based.  Doesnt mean the guy is gonna be Romanian necessarily, but most certainly the EU or UN will be involved and the genocide will occur.

That's hilarious because at my fundie grade school I did a project on the EU hoping to tie it to the book of Revelations and just ended up trying to wrap my 13 year old brain around the details of the Maastricht. But I made a nice map.

The EU building is designed like a modern tower of babel - look at the picture comparisons.  On their currency - the whore of babylon.  Those aren't just coincidences.  There are charts called economic development zones on their website that separate the world into 10 regions and various EU members call for world government consistently.  The EU is a precursor, so at the time you might have not found enough equivalency, but you certainly can now.  It won't necessarily be the primary governance model, but it surely is a candidate.  My theory is that the EU will eventually consume Europe, strengthen its power and wait for America to be weakened.  Then it will begin to assert its influence on this country.  We really are the only country stopping the world from building a one world government.
