Just one word about the last Senat at-large elections because I see that this topic has been brought up again and again: One very important reason why Labor only managed to get one single seat was the fact that many of your Liberal "friends" chose to give their first preference to Andrew instead of your candidates. Had more members of the Liberal Party actually cared about that left-wing solidarity that they now demand from you, you would have at least 2 at-large Senators now.

Honestly I completely agree with this, despite the fact that I'll be first preferencing Napoleon and have the most confidence in him of all the candidates, it always has bothered me that when it comes to "Left wing solidarity" all it really means is "support the centrist left." That being said, however? I don't see what this has to do with anything.

I voted for Andrew because I wanted him to win the final seat. I assumed that Labor would win 2 seats and the Whigs would win 2 seat with the last one being up in the air. I wanted Andrew to be elected and I would have wanted at least 2, if not all 3 of the labor candidates elected. I didn't realize the left's turnout would be so horrible and Wormy would be able to sneak through. Obviously none of us wanted that.

I also applied for an endorsement, but I think they're only voting on presidential candidates. Tongue

Results of Endorsement vote(Sorry Jackson, your vote is after the deadline).
Oakvale yes -8 no -1
Young Tweed yes-5 no-2
Napoleon yes-10 no- 0
RP2012 yes-1 no - 0
Preferential voting
Labor party will endorse Napoleon, Oakvale, Young Tweed, and RP2012
I took voter intention for RP2012 from one of the posters, if you guys find that practice questionable we can have a new vote on endorsement of RP2012.
Labor party preferred ticket order:
1 - Napoleon
2 - Oakvale
3 - Young Tweed
4 - RP2012

I have no problem with preferencing 20RP12, but since only one person voted (Fritz, I believe), it is my opinion that a recount should be held.

Thank you for running this vote for me, Seatown. I should be back from my de facto leave of absence in full force by tomorrow night or Wednesday.

He could always resign to run for this office.

I'm supporting Scott. He's done a fine job so far and I'm proud to have him as my Senator.

Cheers, applause.

Did Snowy ever technically return to being Vice-Chair (or leave, for that matter)?

I don't think anybody's sure, although we do not have any Vice-Chair who isn't Snowy...

We have got to be the most internally dysfunctional party right now. We didn't even manage to run anyone for the Pacific governorship.

Was NVT's run orchestrated by you guys or did he just decide to do it? If the latter, then no one did.
