So in the end Romney did worse than in 2008. Pathetic...

Paul ended up getting something like 2-3% of his vote from the MJC.

The precinct containing Sheldon Adelson's Venetian Hotel & Casino had 5 votes for Ron Paul to 1 vote for Newt Gingrich.  Perhaps it was Adelson himself.

As things stand at the moment (working on the assumption that the delegate estimate published here is accurate) after five contests, the vote and delegate counts are:

Gov. Mitt Romney 41% winning 100 delegates
Newt Gingrich 31% winning 35 delegates
Sen. Rick Santorum 14% winning 10 delegates
Rep. Ron Paul 11% winning 14 delegates
Romney has a majority of 41 delegates

I predicted 50-20-20-10, so I was fairly close. Got the second and third place slots incorrect, though.

Adelson and his wife attended His Own Personal & Very Special Caucus, so I doubt it.

Question: Did most caucuses start earlier than they did last year? & were the noticably more poorly organized in a way that would discourage voting?

Wondering if this explains low turnout, esp. among Paul people.
