Seriously, he probably represents our only chance of stopping Romney in Maine and keeping the ABR/brokered convention momentum going before the mid-February lull. Go Ron!

*Well, all of us except for Winfield and Politico.

Probably but I don't really care about that anyway. I want to watch an amusing race.

I'd rather face Romney than Santorum.  However, Paul is the only candidate that I somewhat like (even though he has major flaws, I agree with him more than any other Republican candidate).

Mostly though, its fun to root for Paul since he's the real underdog.  Also, I'm hoping for a colorful map and an interesting primary season.

Different areas vote on different days. A lot already voted, some will vote before Saturday, and a few places will vote after Saturday.

Hearsay from Ron Paul supporters says he won big last Saturday in northern Maine. Let's keep the momentum going!

Saturday is when we will get the official results. The few places that are voting after Saturday opted not to be part of the "straw poll" as they call it.

I wonder if Santorum will get a bump at this week's caucus sites.

Not surprising. Paul won Aroostook County last time, but he needs more than that to win outright.

Ron Paul supporters would also tell you he won 37 states in the 1988 General election.

He won big in northern Maine last time, too. Seeing as how he won northern New Hampshire, I think that he's dominating the coveted survivalist mountain man demographic and the French speaking maple syrup seller demographic. Romney will do better in the towns and south, which is probably what it all comes down to.

That's right. The GOP needs to have a good unifying floor fight.

Yeah... exactly... a "unifying" floor fight.

But anyway, it would at least be interesting to have Paul win a state for once. First time I've ever rooted for Paul, too! Cheesy

A Libertarian that doesn't support Paul?  Why, or do you like a "perfect candidate" with 1-2% of the vote?

Funny, it's the other Republican candidates' foreign policies that scare me.  I don't need to see a bankrupt US try to wage war with a China and Russia-backed Iran.

Even while we're on our way out in Afghanistan and Iraq (both hopeless at this point)?
