In 2008, Obama won one congressional district in NE. In redistricting, it appears that Obama has been given a fair shot at winning 2 congressional districts, though it is by no means assured.

This is a poll from October, obviously the numbers are going to shift like crazy before election day. However, it shows that in October, Obama had a lead on every Republican candidate in Nebraska's new 1st district.

The 2nd district was more favorable to Republicans, yet it showed Obama within a few points of most Republicans, though only beating Newt Gingrich.
