Here are the seats that I believe Democrats are going to need to take back the House:

1. AZ-01
2. CA-07
3. CA-26
4. CA-10
5. CA-31
6. CA-52
7. CO-03
8. CO-06
9. FL-18
10. FL-22
11. FL-25
12. IL-08
13. IL-10
14. IL-11
15. IL-13
16. IL-17
17. MN-08
18. NV-03
19. NH-01
20. NH-02
21. NJ-03
22. NY-09
23. NY-13
24. NY-19
25. NY-20
26. NY-25
27. OH-06
28. OH-16
29. MD-06
30. FL-02
31. IA-04
32. MI-01
33. PA-08
34. WI-07
35. WI-08
36. CA-36
37. TX-23
38. TX-27
39. IN-08
40. MT-AL
41. ND-AL
42. TX-14

Assume Democrats lose:

1. TX-25
2. AR-04
3. OK-02
4. NC-08
5. NC-11
6. NC-13
7. GA-12

This would mean that Democrats would gain a 228-207 majority.

Obviously Democrats need to expand the playing field.  They needed to get better candidates in swing seats like MI-06, MI-07, MI-10, OH-07, OH-14, PA-06, PA-07, NY-24, WA-03, WA-08, VA-02, and WV-01.

In all likelyhood, Democrats will end up with around 210-213 seats, just short of a majority as I think Democrats will fall short in many of these seats.

And then, after this failure, they're doomed for precisely 48 years, yes?

I'd also throw in at least one of the Arkansas seats.

I'd like them to pick up AR-01 or AR-02 and hold AR-04.

Isn't AZ-09 also Democratic-leaning?

The Republicans will easily hold WA-03 and WA-08. They have a very good chance at picking up WA-01, too, since the Democrats will probably run Darcy Burner (aka the worst candidate ever) for the third time.
