Buying this version of Rangers, and selling them when they inevitably get back into the SPL could actually be a rare example of someone making money from a football club (a bit like Celtic in the 90s)

Lord no. The tendency is to lose it hand over fist. But then wages bills are what they are these days, amongst other things.
