I probably would've voted for Roemer and then with no hesitation "Better a lizard than a wizard" in the runoff.

Roemer.

Kinda random, but here's my reason: LSU has one of the best college recreation complexes in the county; it was commissioned under Roemer's administration. As a fitness enthusiast, I really appreciate that.

Clyde Holloway, I guess. He was pretty conservative when he was a congressman

He helped my uncle get elected to the State House (district 27).

Holloway in the primary, abstention in the runoff. I'm voting for neither the felon nor the neo-Nazi.

Nope, I can't either. Wormy's probably set it to show after a certain amount of time.

And... Buddy Roemer wins the first round with 50%, but misses avoiding a runoff by a single vote.  Edwin Edwards joins the runoff with 25%, and David Duke is a surprisingly strong third with 14.6%.
