Nutterbutter, who is the internally-conjoined twin of SoIA 20RP12, has stated that he has no intention of actually campaigning, but believes Atlasia will choose him simply because he is "the fanciest and most British candidate there is."

This seems suspicious. Show us the birth certificate!

We could be sworn in now, technically. There are two candidates and two seats, so both of us are running unopposed.

I have a feeling no GOTV was conducted.

I voted purely because of Jones' signature image.
Sad

What's the shortest length for a Senate career in history?

Homley was elected and left the forum like a day afterwards. I guess that is the shortest I can think of off the top of my head. Tongue

Are you thinking of resigning?
Hell no! I'm just wondering in case I get defeated.

I see the Atlasian left has reverted to a dysfunctional joke.

Inevitable really once the JCP and its time-honoured tradition was abandoned.  I think we need to resurrect it.
There are stirrings within the parties. Not about the JCP, though.

This is the equivalent of 2010 in the real world.
Who would you be, then?

The election is in a week, so you guys don't have much time to decide. Tongue

If I'm not reelected to the Assembly, I'm moving there to get back in the Senate help revitalize the government.

He said he didn't want another term and (I think) stepped down.
I'm still governor

Sorry I thought your term was up and no one got elected. What a confusing system! Tongue

I guess the incumbent governor (even if he isn't running for re-election) remains as governor until someone else swears in?

Someone needs to give the Midwest a good shaking.

Why does it say 1-60? Only 39 people have voted.

Seatown is twice on your list of those who have voted (number 20 and 23).

23 is supposed to be Marokai Blue, I believe.

Napoleon is correct. I made a little mistake. A vote for Tweed/Belgian does not count for Tweed/bgwah.

Well in my case I just copied it from a previous poster's vote because I hate to try to use that horrible unwieldy original ballot.

I do this too, but I make sure to get things right before I post.

Shouldn't opebo count as a first preference for me?
I don't think so. I think that may be a similar circumstance to what happened in June 2009, though my memory is foggy.

Then President and VP are essentially elected separately which wouldn't make sense.

his voter intent was clear

His voter intent was NOT clear.  Looking at the ballot, it appears his intent was to cast a vote for Tweed/Belgiansocialist and not for Tweed/Bgwah.  Now he says he screwed up.  Well, sorry pal, deal with it.  Votes get counted the way they are cast.

So you believe that voter intent is exactly what appears on the ballot? What if it was a misspelling?

Wait, what? 90 or so people voted this time; why does that chart say 66?

Chief Justice Ebowed's remarks lead me to believe that the Court will rule in your favor.

Keep calm and carry on!
