I beleive voter suppresion and fraud had some effect but, I have yet to see any proof that the fraud or suppresion would have changed the outcome of the election.

I think their may have been some questionable things that went on (voting machine problems and what not which seemed to be much more prevelent in the heavily Democratic areas), but i don't think it was stolen

In all fairness you should add to this list, John Kerry and most of the Congressional Democratic leadership.  That is to their credit.

& The majority of the ones who contested it, did not believe that it was stolen and the results would change.  they just wanted to bring to light some of the problems and figured this was the best time.

There is some degree of fraud in every election, but there wasn't enough in Ohio to make the difference in the outcome. I am always highly skeptical of charges of fraud unless there is substaintial proof to back them up. Innocent unless proven guilty.

what worries me is that some of the eletronic voting machines that were used in the 2004 Presidential election were that same ones that the irish government wanted to use and an independant commission here said that they were inaccurate and should not be used. and i think that out of the 27 (i'm not exactly sure of the number) only one, navada, had a paper trail. so i don't trust the results from those states that used them.

heres the links for you to read.

I don't really care. I'm more disappointed in Kerry for giving up because he valued his opponents' information more highly than his own camp's. But even if Ohio had gone to Kerry, the Democrats would have to face minority presidential charges for the next four years--something the far right would likely go to greater lengths to abuse than the left. But hey, I voted for Kerry, my county voted for Kerry, my state voted for Kerry, I did everything I could.

Also, don't forget the most famous and recognized Democrat alive today.   The 42nd President, Bill Clinton has come out and vocally said that Bush won fair and square and that the people in his party need to accept it and move on.

I agree Ohio was not stolen.  Had all the rules been followed, it would have been closer, maybe 110,000 votes or so, but it was not stolen.

I believe some fraud went on the Republican side, but if that was more than the Democratic side or not, I don't know.  I don't believe Ohio was stolen.

I do believe the margin was smaller than what it is stated as, but not by 120,000.

Can't people accept it and move on? (Does moveon.org accept the results in Ohio out of interest? Ironic if they didn't with a name like moveon.......)

No, I just checked the site and they don't. Here is a link to their site. And it's no gag either.

Moveon.org refuses to move on?  Thats pretty sad.  At the very least they could change their name.

Registering commonly-visited web sites for purposes of going to your web site is not a new trick. It does not necessarily mean that they believe what the URL states - for instance, I seriously doubt that neopets.com agrees with the sentiment neopetssuck.com, but they registered the domain anyway.

Also, MoveOn.org has gone from a cool grassroots site to a nuthouse. They had an opportunity to represent a good face of the grassroots. They didn't.

I know that. But that address just shows you the mindset of those loons.
