I saw a few polls of the same question with democrats and republicans, and decided to do a 3rd party one.

1964 Constitution Party candidate Joseph Lightburn. I do not know what he stood for or what he said, but how can you not agree that this is the finest campaign slogan ever thought of:

Yes, he knew how to use his name to the fullest. May this be said of us.

John G. Schmitz

And yes, I'm being ironic.  Sort of.

Gotta say, I'm a bit surprised by the votes so far. I didn't think I'd see so many fellow Debs fans. I also thought I'd see more TR fans. But hey, the thread is young.

Hard choice between Ross Perot and Ron Paul.  I voted Perot.

I love Debs, Weaver, and Teddy Roosevelt, but for the sake of giving the man a little love in this poll, I voted for Weaver.

It's a tough one, but probably Teddy followed by Perot or write-in Gary Johnson.

I knew I was forgetting someone. I should have put Gary as one of the options.

Probably Teddy or Debs.

Clearly, 1912 was the best election Smiley)

Though, of course, the Progressive party candidate came second that election. So, properly speaking TDR wasn't a third-party candidate at all - Taft was Smiley))
