The stubborn desire to continue calling himself a centrist absolutely has to stop, because he's just a social democrat that doesn't like labor unions.
He has a tendency to take things a bit too seriously and I've seen him engage in arguments that could have been avoided. As good a poster as Marokai is, I imagine him sometimes as just being way too wound up.
You're unfortunately not far off, though I can't really help it. About a year and ahalf ago I remember having a minor argument with my grandmother, and as I was walking away, my mother pulled me aside, and preparing to be a nurse at the time, decided to check my blood pressure after the argument. She looked at me with genuine concern and said "Herbie, if you were 20 years older, you'd be having a stroke right now. Chill out."
