I was infracted for pointing out that a certain poster was acting condescending, so yes, criticizing behavior is apparently a "personal attack."

I was just infracted, one again, for criticizing the behavior of a poster rather than making a personal attack on him! The arbitrary judgments of the moderating team are indefensible.

I wrote:

Note that I never called the poster himself an "idiot hack", but merely criticized his actions as idiotic and hackish. It seems that we are no longer allowed to talk about other posters at all, unless we shower them with glowing praise!<sup>1

1</sup>And even then we should be careful that our praise is not too glowing, lest we are charged with "excessive hyperbole."
