I'd be happy with Obama +1 from them.

Which is what I'm expecting...

As an aside, Amy Walter of ABC tweeted that at a Peter Hart focus group in Ohio, voters were critical of Obama's debate performance, but are cutting him lots of slack for having a bad night.

PublicPolicyPolling‏@ppppolls

VP debate looks like a draw in the swing states where we launched polls tonight. Not a game changer either way

I think Romney will have small lead in OH with those yet to vote and Obama will have big lead with those who already voted

Barack Obama was a lot stronger in our Saturday Ohio polling than Friday night. We'll have the final results soon

Remember all that talk about Obama's burn rate and how they were blowing all their cash? Well this is what they were spending it on, a huge and sophisticated ground operation in all the swing states. It is what has kept NC competitive when it should be polling like IN and it has helped turn OH (a traditionally lean R swing state) into a sort of trump card in a close election.

Of course if Obama screws up in Debate #2 there is only so much a good campaign can do.

That's all for tonight. We haven't polled Pennsylvania forever so we snuck an extra poll in there for tomorrow. CO, IA, NH later in the week

Great news!

They are probably setting a low bar for Obama this week, so they can show a big bounce next week ...
