Why eliminate the local and state funding? For the purposes of what this wants to acheive, does the source of the money make all that much difference? The Federal gov't can get it's way at almost any level of funding simply by using the funding it does contribute and attaching conditions.

It was a rather interesting election, though it owuld have been better with more declared candidacies and active campaigns. In the election I thought we were getting my plan was to second you or even vote for you if Jack looked secure towards the end.

Anyway I look forward to your future activities. Also, keep an eye an eye on the Senate debates and feel free to comment on any present debates, man. Smiley

It seems like you can't get anything to load, Yankee! Tongue

You might want to invest in a better computer or ISP. Wink

I have less money for such then I did last month courtesy of "family rearrangements" shall we say. Tongue

I ended up flipping a coin to see who I should put on top. At least both of you and Small L will be winning.

Also don't take that website down until I get a chance to open it finally. I figure that sooner or later all the stuff will load and it will display if I just let it sit for a while. Sometimes I have to do that with this site.

Which reminds me, I need turn signatures back on.

That was back in 2008, no? If we're going that far back, the IDS once elected Governor Xahar.

Pacific or Midwest would have had that distinction as far back as 2008 surely?

2004 and 2005ish I was thinking of actually.

Congrats, Your Majesty, I know you worked rather hard on the matter. Smiley

Presently the Senate is debating including grants to the regions for programs targetting this issue, in the I believe the Public Means Public Act. You are welcome to contribute your thoughts on this matter in  the debate thread if you so desire.

I'm a little disappointed that this healthcare project isn't generating as much interest as it should, either in the IDS or elsewhere, but what can ya do...

Once the IDS complete its version, it will serves as a model for other regions on how to approach it and then with a little pushing, perhaps we can get the desired attention focused on it.

I find it a little sad that none of the candidates have ran a pm campaign (or at least none that I know of). They should have campaigned more.

Yea, I ended up merely voting for the incumbents and then a person as the declared non-incumbent and then finally a selection of people who can serve/should have ran. A person could have gotten a higher preference probably had he PMed me.

Perhaps healthcare will change that, particulaly with an individual mandate in the mix. Motivate more candidates/interest for August.
