Let's say a law was passed prohibiting a certain person, like say, oh, Ralph Nader, from ever running for public office ever again. Would that be Constitutional and if not what would it violate?

The powers of the federal government are few and defined. Congress has no authority to bar someone from running for office.

Each House is the Judge of the Elections of its own members.

I don't see how it could be constitutional.  You can't prohibit someone from running for office.

I'm not sure about this but I think a law passed against a specific person which deprives him of his rights would be a "Bill of Attainder" which is prohibited by article 1 section 9 of the constitution.

Jake's right, just assassinate him and be done with it. Your obsession with Nader is -- well, kind of odd.
