I figured that with many major films on the way, I'd bring this back. Let's start fresh though so we can hopefully attract some new players. Firstly, let's acknowledge that BRTD (9 points) came out on top the last time we did this with benconstine (7 points) in a strong second. *Round of applause.*

Here are the rules:

Hunger Games 47%

Also, I'd like to note that Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar movie opens in theaters today!

And currently sitting at 42% on RT. Considering how few people actually get Tim & Eric, that really isn't too bad. Also it's just kind of awesome that Roger Ebert had to sit through something Tim & Eric did.

Apparently the book is a really big deal, but the trailer makes it look kind of stupid... I'll say 59%.

I read some of the reviews. A lot of them were hilarious. I'm stoked to see it in theaters tonight!

Hunger Games - I'll give it a 61%. For some reason I expect it to be similar to the Phantom Menace.

I'm sure it'll end up dropping quite a bit (early reviews tend to be more favorable) but wow... I guess this isn't the next Twilight in terms of quality. I may have to actually check this out now.

I'm interested in it now, though I won't see it till it hits the second run theater at least, no way I'm seeing any movie in a theater likely full of squealing teenage girls. It'll probably be the best movie in theaters next weekend though, I just noticed all top 10 are certified rotten this week (though The Lorax and Safe House are both above 50%).

Reviews for this are trickling in very slowly atm. Still at 100% with 16 though. It also has an excellent 8.3 average rating (for now).

New movies have been added.

My guesses:

Wrath of the Titans 22%

Mirror Mirror 26%

In other news, reviews for The Hunger Games are pouring in now and it's still at 91%!

There is a lot of speculation about it possibly having one of the biggest opening weekends ever too. A 120+ million opening weekend would be insane for a non-sequel but it seems like a possibility.

That would make it the highest opening weekend ever for a non-sequel. The current record holder is the Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland at $116 million.

This also means The Hunger Games is set to be the widest independent release of all time. I know some people think it's a joke to call Lionsgate an indie studio, but it's worth noting they've had only two films ever top $100 million (Fahrenheit 9/11 and The Expendables), and outside of those two their top grossing non-Tyler Perry or Saw film is The Lincoln Lawyer with only $58 million. So The Hunger Games could become the highest grossing Lionsgate release ever in only its first weekend.

Still not seeing it till it hits the cheap theater due to the crowd the marketing will attract.

Indeed. Plus in that case it was an adaptation of a story everyone and their grandmother had known about forever. It also had Johnny Depp as its star.

Wrath of the Titans - 19%
Mirror Mirror - 15%

Lowballing it. I really doubt either of these movies will have any redeemable quality, and as someone who saw the last "Titans," it's only downhill from there.
