Considering no Republican has won MA since 1984... it's hardly his most damning quality... he's probably doing much better than Santorum.

Of course, the last Republican presidential candidate from MA got 37% in a three-way race in 1992, and 45% in 1988. But the Republican party of 2012 is no longer the Republican party of 1988.
