Do you think that now that the Republicans locked in a supermajority in the Alabama legislature and has had 2 Republican Governors in a row that Alabama is now locked permanently into the Republican column?

Nothing is permanent, but for the foreseeable future, yes, until and unless Alabama Virginiafies or something, which if it happens won't be for several decades.

Probably so. The two areas that are growing the fastest, Huntsville and the Birmingham exurbs (AL-06), are trending Republican.
