So as some of you know, I recently purchased a copy of Campaigns Forever, which is used to design President Forever scenarios.  I'm currently working on a scenario that's based on the June 2013 election in fantasyland, but I'm going to be working on other races, too.  So if I have any news or updates to share, I will post them in this thread and release the games once they're finished.

No requests, please.  You can post ideas if you want, but I'm doing this mostly because I have way too much time on my hands and not because I have any obligation to do it.  If there is a particular scenario you want to play that isn't on my list, make it yourself.

I ditched the WV scenario for now and started working on the NC Senate 2010 scenario instead.  For some reason it works, but I contacted 270soft about the issue anyway.

Quick update.  No reply from 270soft yet.  I moved on to the NC Senate scenario, which is having its own set of problems.  Ugh.

Thanks, guys.  I have some bad news.  I haven't been able to fix glitches because I don't have access to the text files, nor any of the folders that contain scenario program files, yet I can edit the game using the software.  This is because I am running a fairly old program on a very new version of Windows, so it creates and modifies scenarios in the program folder instead of in a 'user data' folder.  The head developer of 270soft said he would look into this and see if he can find a solution, but until then, there isn't much I can do.

It will be a while before I can release the first project.  Sorry, guys.

On another note, my internet connection was out all day, so I couldn't do a whole lot anyway.  Yesterday I made some changes to the NC layout.  There will be 22 regions of the state to compete in instead of six.  Here's the map now. (Possibly subject to change... the EV composition tilts the race too far in Dole's favor.)

I've located the problem.  I'll be getting back to work on the scenarios now.

It is finished!  Keep in mind that this is my first completed game for President Forever.  While I have yet not tested the scenario with every character, I've ran a few tests and the game seems functional, but please leave me feedback if you love it, hate it, or if you see anything that needs to be fixed.  If necessary, I'll go back and make changes, but right now I'm moving on to the next project.

Okay.  In order to play the scenarios, you need a copy of President Forever 2008, which costs some money.  Then you put the scenario in your Scenarios folder and it should work.
