Quite intelligent gregarious extrovert with good and pithy writing skills who is more interested in socializing than deep political or psephological thought. Considering his age (does he have a driver's license yet?), the focus of his posts is probably wise. Smiley

As his name suggests, he is a Goldwater-esque Republican. Well respected and friendly, an all-around FF.

A traitor to our glorious cause. Needs to realize he lives in a state Romney will not be winning under any circumstances and thus support for Johnson is acceptable.

But I'm not voting regardless so it doesn't really matter whether I support Romney, Johnson or Vermin Supreme.

Sam: Seems indecisive of whether he is a Democrat or a Libertarian, as his avatar color flips from yellow to red from time to time.  His opposition to late-term abortions and unconditional bans on conscription make him out to be more moderate on social issues than his PM score would indicate.

I only opposed the unconditional ban because I was SoEA and that was the tack the administration wanted; as a citizen I do support such a ban.

Scott : Friendly and uncontroversial moderate Democrat from Connecticut. Hard not to confuse him with Napoleon or Homely.

The Pirate Party is a one issue party, so it is hard to gauge his opinions/reactions to other issues. Also a brony.

Paleocon who likes Ron Paul and Pat Buchanan. At one point (not on this forum) a neocon, at one point a semi-neo-confederate of some sort, but seems to have refined himself over the year(s).

He is a protectionist(?) Catholic conservative who seems to have the curious desire to reform our political system so that is resembles 9th century Feudalism.  From the posts I have read by him, he seems to have an extensive knowledge of American history.

A fairly hawkish Democrat, but I suppose that is normal for Virginia.

Views tend to hew pretty close to the average San Franciscan with a mixture of more old-school socialism with more new-school social progressivism. Can get rather touchy about certain foreign policy issues, but generally civil besides that.
