No. Months before the revolution Mubarak's very bad medical condition was a common knowledge. Most of the observers didn't expect him to survive next three years, no matter of his "status".

Good. Him and his government should've just been take out and shot anyways. This revolution is a pansy bitch compared to the French and Russian revolutions. Those people knew what they were doing.
