It's good to see Christians acting Christ like.  It happens all the time, of course, but rarely makes the news.  (this won't either...and realy shouldn't as it's not a national story...but it's still good to see)

Yeah, most Evangelical Christians (as opposed to Fundamentalists) are truly generous people. When you take out the politics from it, that's not so hard to see.

Of course, no one in this country should have to rely on charity to pay for needed medical services.

Charity to heal the sick is essential to the church's mission.

That's a sweet story all-around -- including the atheist's un-mocking use of "true Christians."

Hopefully Fred Phelps doesn't find out.

It's nice to see how pleasant the world could be when people act like people. Very uplifting and encouraging to see good be the focus of something for once.

Hopefully Fred Phelps doesn't find out.

Personally, I hope he does. Maybe it'll give him the stroke he's had coming for the last 20 years and improve the world just a little bit more.

At any rate, speaking as an atheist, I'm glad to see this. I can name quite a few Christians who could do with taking a page out of this church's book.
