So after watching this video of a 3 year old child in a wheel chair being patted down, one of the comments directed me to the site of the Opt Out Alliance.  It's an initiative by Liberty Guard whereby you can request an "opt out card" with instructions on how to Opt Out of TSA Full-Body Scanners and "enhanced" pat downs, how to file an official complaint -- on the spot, and who you can call to report your experience to the media.

I know we have members that do a lot of travelling, so this might be useful to somebody.  What do you think of all this?

I think some people need to find some legit problems if the worst thing they have to worry about is the TSA.

On the one hand, standing up for your legal rights is sooo last century - I don't expect the TSA to listen to me in such a case. But, what the hey, I was curious so I signed up for one.

People who complain about the TSA are annoying. Oh no you're being lightly patted for a few seconds by someone, clearly we have become a police state!!1!

I have a solution for those folks who don't like searches.  Take the train.

Also, LOL at "Liberty Guard". God bless these freedom fighters, struggling daily against the fascist police state in the form of slightly annoying airport security. Rand Paul is a latter day Rosa Parks.

Well, things like that is a slippery slope. The authorities will always say "it is for you on safety". You gotta draw the line somewhere. So even if it may seem like an overreaction, the Liberty Guard has my sympathy.
