And if Newt and that irrelevant guy dropped out, Santorum would lead 57% to 37%.

Romney is the second choice of 50% of Gingrich voters. If you want to prevent Romney from getting a majority of delegates (Santorum cannot win a majority of delegates, so what else are you hoping for?), you should hope Gingrich stays in and wins more delegates.

It was supposedly the same story with a lot of the other guys too, but when they dropped out very little support went to Romney.
