Would be Lieberman except he's not really a Democrat. John Edwards isn't really relevant in politics anymore so it'd be silly to include him. Kucinich might qualify but he's on his way out. Dodd is kind of noteworthy for how awful he's been since leaving office (heading the MPAA and massively pushing for SOPA), but I'm not sure if that'd qualify as a "politician". And most right wing Blue Dogs are now gone.

I might have to go with someone blatantly corrupt like Rangel. Sheila Jackson-Lee deserves a mention because of this.

So basically the entire Dem field in 2008?

Not amongst the ones that actually matter, I like Obama obviously and I've actually grown to like Hillary as much as I was against her in 2008 (as you all can remember.)

Of currently elected officials, it's Joe Manchin. Anyone remember this ad? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIJORBRpOPM

Otherwise, Chris Dodd is a wretched human being. Worse than Lieberman IMO.

There is a lot of utter trash. Maybe Zell Miller, the ultimate DINO.

Given my registration and political orientation, I'm put in the rather interesting position of having four fields to choose from, so...

Independent(ideology): Joe Lieberman. Bar none.

Libertarian(registry): Wayne Allyn Root. I'd say Barr if he hadn't least had the ethical decency to tell Stormfront where they could stick their endorsement.

Democrat: Bob Menendez, Charles Rangel, Sheila Jackson Lee, and Jesse Jackson Jr., most likely.

Republican: Rick Santorum, Rick Scott, Saxby Chambliss, and Jean Schmidt.

John Edwards, or insert moderate hero here(basically the opposite of what many posters said about Kucinich).
