Don't the facts matter in this case?

There seems to be a rush to judgment against Zimmerman. Some have suggested that he must be guilty because he had a gun in his pocket and "Trayvon" [we don't call him "George"] was not carrying a weapon. This assumes "Trayvon" knew "George" had a gun in his pocket when, as alleged by the police, and confirmed by the fact of "George's" broken nose, struck "George" and began beating him. If "Trayvon" didn't knew of the gun, he just might have made a fatal mistake.

Some have suggested that this incident was a "stand your ground" law run amok. The facts seem to indicate that "Trayvon" was the one whom stood his ground rather than meekly retreating when confronted by a person on a neighborhood watch.

The Black Panther Party is offering, in their words, a $10,000 dollar bounty for "George." Allegedly, this is for the "capture" of "George," but, since there are no warrants from his arrest it is for the kidnapping of "George." This assumes the "bounty" is not for the murder of "George." In either case, why isn't the Black Panther Party being investigated as a potential "hate crime" by the feds for advocating the kidnapping/murder of a man whom is not Black?

This person needs to be banned immediately, he is out of control.

Why is posting an article attempting to expand upon the facts in this case a reason for banning anyone?

For what? Daring to express a different view?

There was a rumor that you had been banned. If so, socks are frowned upon. If not, well fine, carry on, but your signature offends me I must say.

How would a "sock" have the same name, and, magically have the same number of total posts?

Don't have a clue. That is beyond my skill set. We will find out one way or the other in due course, so there is no point arguing about it. And I really don't know CaDan (be it this one or the former one, or the same one). He did his thing separate and apart from where I do my thing.

Well, if you are going to speculate as whether, or not, "CaDan" had been "banned" then it would have behooved you to look at the evidence. "CaDan" was posting, and "CaDan" had about the exact number of posts as the previous CaDan.

Whomever started those rumors committed an injustice against the poster, and, you ought to apologize for spreading those rumors.

How is this even controversial? I really don't understand conservatives sometimes.

Most of us aren't saying Zimmerman should be shot on the spot or found guilty without a trial. But the fact that he hasn't even been arrested is just ridiculous... What a stupid law.

In case you didn't notice, somewhere preserved in inert gas is this piece of paper called the "Constitution." In the "Constitution," are a series of "Amendments" generally called "The Bill of Rights." In those Amendments there are provisions that a person arrested is entitled to know the charges against him, and, once charged, is entitled to a "speedy trial."

Had Zimmerman been arrested, the clock would have started towards a speedy trial. Since he was not arrested, the prosecutor still has until the expiration of the statute of limitations to build a case. Generally, murder has no statute of limitation.

Incessant demands for an "arrest" so that you can have your "perp walk" might make you feel better, but, they don't further the cause of justice. Would you really want Zimmerman tried before all the evidence against him was collected, if there is such evidence to collect?
