I regret to say that I am resigning from my Senate seat.  This place was really fun when I first started, but lately I am only logging on beause I feel I have to.  I ran for the Senate because I really wanted the job and hoped it would restore the fun.  That did not happen.  The recent tone by some really sucked the fun out of it.  I really wanted to contribute, but the fact is that I do not believe that I will do so, and thus will not be doing my job.

You guys deserve a Senator that will take this game to the next level.  That is no longer me.  I thought about just hanging on until the next election but that would be a disservice to the voters.  So I resign and am taking my leave of Atlasia and the forum.  To all the friends I made, I am glad I met you guys.

I am sorry to hear it Junkie- I admire some one who steps down when he feels unable to serve to his best ability...if only our leaders in Washington would have that responsbility to the people they serve

I saw Junkie's resignation, and you certainly made yours clear, but did Marokai resign too? Or is he just not running for reelection?

After some reflection on this, I've decided to resign from my position as Senator.

I have found myself too occupied with other things to even be on this forum at all, lately, let alone deal with Atlasian stuff, and I'm deeply sorry for that. I'll return someday, but for now there are other things to deal with, and the Senate deserves better than my unfortunate inactivity.
