It gave me O'Connor #1, and I detest O'Connor.  It doesn't ask about affirmative action, abortion, right to die, detentions at Gitmo, gay marriage, or most of the other major legal issues out there.  Didn't like the test.

I agree.  It gave me Kennedy, but I don't like him all that much.  I think I should get Scalia or Thomas as #1.

Is this supposed to be about our personal opinions or our interpretation of the Constitution? Because there's a huge difference between asking me if mentally handicaped people should be exempt from the death penalty, and asking me whether or not that's in the Constitution.

Well the test is based on 2001 opinions only, so Gitmo wasn't around and gay marriage wasn't the issue it is now; Stenberg v. Carhart was the last major abortion case, in 2000.

I personally like the test as its the only one I've ever come across that produces vaguely sane results for me, though apparently not for you.

I still have no clue how to answer the questions on this test. Is it asking my personal opinion or my legal opinion?

I answered with my legal opinion, though I suppose its entirely up to you.

The Conservative bloc of the Court is:
Rehnquist, Scalia and Thomas

The Moderate/Centrist bloc is:
Keneddy, O'Connor

The Liberal bloc is:
Stevens, Breyer, Ginsbury and Souter (though he used to be more moderate)

1. Anthony Kennedy (I don't get that one)
2. Antonin Scalia
3. Sandra Day O'Connor
4. William Rhenquist
5. Clarence Thomas
6. Stephen Breyer
7. David Souter
8. John Paul Stevens
9. Ruth Bader Ginsburg

With the exception of Kennedy at the top, the list is pretty accurate for my beliefs and personal likenesses.  Scalia has always been one of my favorites.
